Ch Srinivas – Executive Director-Lubes

With over three decades of experience in the downstream oil and gas sector, Ch Srinivas leads the lubricants business at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), one of India’s largest and most diversified energy companies, with operations across the entire oil and gas value chain.

Since assuming his current role two years ago, he has been instrumental in driving a strong growth trajectory for HPCL’s lubricants division. Under his leadership “HP Lubricants” has focused on revitalizing the premium brand positioning, advancing lubricant technologies, creating value and digitizing the supply chain through end-to-end traceability and 3PL solutions, significantly improving delivery efficiency.

A strong advocate of sustainability, he also plays a key role in promoting circular economy initiatives. He chairs the national Used-Oil Working Group under the G20’s RECEIC, contributing to the development of India’s roadmap for the collection and re-refining of used engine oil.

Prior to this role, he had led marquee initiatives in HPCL’s digital transformation journey, spearheading innovations like AI-based vision analytics to enhance service quality at fuel stations and safety at Oil installations, as well as UPI-enabled customer payment solutions. His extensive experience also spans Fuel retailing, which includes strategy, highway retailing, non-fuel retail (NFR), and business development.

He has also spent 17 years working on major infrastructure projects across India, building deep expertise in large-scale project execution.

An engineering postgraduate with a management degree, Ch Srinivas is a recognized voice in energy, mobility, and sustainability forums. He actively champions the idea that responsible growth and strong brand-building must go hand in hand.
